HOW WE THINK

The same Holy Spirit who wrote the early history of the
Church is writing through you and me in these days.

The world at large is crying manifested especially in anxiety, fear, division, despair and a loss of what it means to be human

Jesus founded the Church to answer this cry. However, the Church herself is crying, in many of those same ways. As a result she often appears irrelevant or obsolete.

Nonetheless like Saint Joan of Arc we are not afraid and have unshakeable confidence in God. We were born for this.
If the Church is founded to answer the world’s cry and the Church is crying, how do we get well?

FOR TRANSFORMATION IN THE CHURCH

REACQUIRE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW
We desperately need to see again, not some things but all things. Things like who is God, why did He create the world, why’s everything so messed up, what’s God done about it and how should we respond to what He’s done? This principle restores our sight.

WATCH
IT’S NOT ENOUGH TO BE A STAFF
Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters and Paul didn’t have a staff. This principle involves letting the Lord heal us, remind us what biblical leadership looks like, the importance of the complementarity of the body of Christ, healthy culture and more. This principle restores our identity.

WATCH
RESTORE THE INITIATIVE TO GOD
Prayer should not be an agenda item; it should drive the agenda. The apostles and saints didn’t simply pray before they did their work; they prayed in order to know what to do. This is the art of synodality and restores the initiative to God.
