Leon S. Dixon, Jr. is the Coordinator for the Office of Black Catholic Ministry. Mr. Dixon was recognized six times by President Obama for Outstanding Community Service/Volunteerism. He is the organizer of the highly successful, street evangelization effort known as “We are Witnesses”.  This effort meets at night in various areas of metro Detroit. The group brings hope to people that need to have their hope “recharged”.

He is the son of Leon and Carole Dixon Sr. Mr. Dixon is the former Dean of Students at Detroit Cristo Rey High School, the only co-ed Catholic High School in the city of Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Dixon attends St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church in Detroit. He is the father of two daughters (ages 22 and 17). Mr. Dixon is an Honorably Discharged—Disabled Veteran. He is a proud INFANTRYMAN!
